Crypto tools and explanations without the noise.
IsCoinLegit helps everyday users understand crypto calculations and common safety risks. The site combines practical calculators with plain-English guides, so a term is explained before it is used as an assumption.
Free tools
Our seventeen calculators, converters and helpers run directly in your browser, including Bitcoin unit, historical estimate, halving, tax and QR tools. There is no account, no sign-up and no saved calculation history. You supply the inputs because prices, fees and rates change.
Clear guides
Our articles focus on scam awareness, basic crypto concepts and repeatable how-to steps. They avoid guaranteed-return language and do not promote a particular coin.
Educational only
IsCoinLegit does not provide financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Calculator outputs are estimates based on the numbers you enter. Always verify transaction details with your wallet or exchange and consider professional advice for your situation.
Our mission
Every day, people lose money to crypto traps that could have been spotted in time — rug pulls, phishing links, fake airdrops and pig-butchering schemes. IsCoinLegit exists to put a free, honest check between you and that moment: check before you trust.
How the tools work
Calculators run entirely in your browser — the numbers you type never leave your device, and nothing is saved. The Token Safety Checker reads live on-chain security data for the contract address you paste and flags warning signs such as honeypots, buy and sell taxes, minting and ownership risks in plain English. Results are risk signals to support your decision, never a guarantee that a token is safe.
Built in the open
IsCoinLegit is an independent project, built and maintained by its founder, Ali Raza, in public. The code is visible on GitHub, and the project launched on Product Hunt in October 2026. Suggestions and corrections are welcome via the contact page.
What we never do
We never ask you to connect a wallet, create an account or pay for a tool. We run no ads, promote no coin, and never call any token 100% legit — we show you the warning signs, and you decide.
